The new stadium for the Nashville Sounds in Sulphur Dell has officially been given a name, First Tennessee Park. Yesterday, the Nashville Business Journal reported that Mayor Karl Dean called the naming rights sponsorship a “vital next step to the success of the project,” and said “Nashville is already starting to realize the economic development spurred from the ballpark.”
