It appears that a couple of the most well-known streets in Nashville are awaiting some very big changes in the months ahead. In fact, Metro Nashville has approved two full service hotels that will be built to cater to the guests of the new Music City Center. The Hyatt Regency Hotel will be developed on Lower Broadway and the Marriott Hotel is constructing plans for Demonbreun Street. “With the Music City Center now open, there is a tremendous need for more hotel capacity, and private developers are interested in investing hundreds of millions of dollars into two separate full-service hotel projects in our city,” said Mayor Karl Dean in a recent article published in the Nashville Business Journal.
Butch Spyridon, president of the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau, expects these projects to significantly help their marketing efforts for the convention center. Both projects will assist in keeping the Music City Center booked with events along with generating employment and revenue for the city. Nashville has lots of exciting additions coming and we do not see any slowdown in the growth of Music City in the near future. Keep on expanding Nashville, the Horrell Company is ready for ya!
